Earn a Jr. Sailors’ Pizza Party at your Yacht Club!!
Here’s our challenge to each yacht club: The club whose Jr. Program donates the most food will win a pizza party at their yacht club, up to $120.00!
All food will be donated to the St. Vincent DePaul Food Bank. Located in Bayville, St. Vincent DePaul provides provisions for many needy people in our area. Summer can be especially hard for children, as the school breakfasts and lunches are not available. So please help us help our community!
Other Highlights:
We will also be having a rigging contest, an Instructor knot-tying contest, a greased watermelon challenge and a DJ on the deck after the racing has finished.
Lunch will be an old-fashioned July 4th BBQ including hamburgers, hot dogs, chips, watermelon and lemonade. Lunch is included for all registered sailors and one coach per yacht club. Parents, siblings, additional coaches and others can purchase lunch for an extra $5.00 per lunch.
