GENERAL INFORMATION

  1. ELIGIBILITY: - All entrants (skippers and crews) must be members of the BBYRA and US Sailing and meet the requirements for the event they are entering. Proof of membership must be demonstrated at registration. (Membership forms will be available.)  Bay Eliminations are open. There is no restriction as to the number of entries per Club. Registration Fee $10.00 per person
  2. AGE/SEX RESTRICTIONS:

    Sears, Bemis & Smythe Boys and girls who have reached their thirteenth but not their nineteenth birthday during the calendar year.

    Adams Cup – Women only – skipper and crew must be eighteen or over except one crew member may be as young as fifteen.

  3. ENTRIES – Entry forms may be obtained from the US Sailing website

    www. ussailing.org – directory, must have a Club officer’s approval and be forwarded as indicated in the Elimination Schedule to the Chairman, National Cup Events. NO ENTRY WILL BE ACCEPTED WITHOUT A PROPERLY COMPLETED FORM RECEIVED BY THE NOTED DEADLINE.

  5. TROPHIES – BBYRA Perpetual Trophies for US Sailing events will be awarded to the winner of the BBYRA Elimination when there are two or more entrants and a sail-off occurs. In the event that only one competitor enters the BBYRA Elimination and represents the BBYRA in the Area C Finals, the Championship Flag will be awarded.  In the event that there is no BBYRA Elimination scheduled for a US Sailing event, the BBYRA Perpetual Trophy and Flag will be awarded to the top BBYRA competitor in the Area C Final, provided the Area C Final is sailed on Barnegat Bay.

·        Mid Atlantic Midget Finals: CBYRA, location and date  to be announced

 

·        U.S. Men's Sailing Championship “ Mallory”

- for the Clifford D. Mallory Cup

- for the Mrs. Charles Francis Adams Cup and the Mrs. Willis D. Wood Trophy
