RULES OF THE

  BARNEGAT BAY YACHT RACING

ASSOCIATION

   SANDERLING FLEET

September 2006

PREFACE:

The guiding principle of the BBYRA Sanderling Fleet is that racing should be fun. These rules are designed to help make the races enjoyable by keeping boats and rigging as uniform as possible through limitations on special equipment, gadgets, and "go-fasts". These rules are intended to ensure that insofar as is possible, seamanship, sailing skill, and tactics are the decisive factors in race results. The Marshall Sanderling "as delivered by Marshall with cabin" (10/02) is the BBYRA class boat. The only acceptable modifications are those specified in these rules.
