Marion Freeth Sportsmanship Award

Awarded at the Junior Powder Puff Regatta

This trophy may be awarded to the participant who, in the judgment of the of the Junior Powder Puff Committee, Instructors, and Race Committee has shown outstanding dedication and graciousness in the sport of sailing. A sailor who has performed a singular exemplary act or who has consistently exemplified the finest tradition of the sport of sailing on and off the water through instruction and encouragement of others

Trophy donated by Vivian K. Dooren, Founder of the Jr. Powder Puff in 2004

Trophy to be permanently displayed on the first floor of the Metedeconk River Yacht Club, and a keeper, Teddy Bear, trophy to be presented to the winner.
